She danced in a field of flowers

Mon Jul 21, 2008, 4:39 PM
  • Listening to: my own thoughts
-You can be whatever you want to be
and you can do, whatever you want to do
Every hour, of every day, of every week, of every month, of every year, of every decade... that quite often past just like that...
Start taking pictures, for that day of winter when you miss the warmest of summers of your life-

I met a ballerina once, she danced in a field of flowers.
Her feet jumped from petal to petal and her hair floated with the wind like gold waves of barley. There were butterflies hanging to her shoelaces, I think that's how she flew. The emerald grass smelled like summer. And it was warm and calm like sunday morning in pijamas. There were all kinds of flowers of all different colours and scents. And the hummingbirds danced around in celebration for such a beautiful day.
I met a ballerina once, she told me to be happy and free.
Because we only live once and the summer doesn't last the whole year, and one day you'll miss those sunday mornings in your pijamas, looking out the window at the emerald grass and the warm rays of light warming your nose.
